Hello, you have reached the website of Jake Smith a hobby artist located in Des Moines, Iowa. Most of my artwork includes charcoal; charcoal allows me the freedom and expressiveness I demand. Although I do not limit myself to one medium I use what is around me to create. My artwork would appeal to someone who enjoys art that makes them think. My artwork has profound meanings to me every line is a feeling or idea that I want to share.  In a lot of my artwork I have strong scientific and spiritual inspirations, which may lead to a conflict showing our struggles as the human race.
